Norman Rockwell's art has always been an inspiration to me and I love the way he tells a story in his work. That's what I've tried to do with this painting. It's a story about trust. The biker is having a shave and his partner has cut him already but he trusts her to continue. I've tried to add some tension by showing his gripped hand on the chair and his clenched fist.
